One day of prep wouldn’t be enough for Marvel to pull a win here

Dr Doom is one of favorite villains. But I can't see him and Annihilus winning this one. Darkseid's Omega Beams are too powerful when they're properly written.

Could go either way but leaning towards Team Marvel.

DC duo. Doom is good and could beat them with prep, but not in a random one off.

Well, it's not a random encounter, they have 1d prep.

@smoothsanta: You did say that Doom could beat them with prep and I believe he can, although Brainiac is a toss up but the majority goes towards Doom

@rampagethefirst: Brainiac is smart but hardly preps like Doom. However he does prepare himself well.

When it comes to prep, Doom saved the Marvel Universe. But that was with plenty of prep time.

@smoothsanta: Doom can always abuse his time travelling abilities and turn his lack of prep time into a milennia but I don't think it's necessary, he has pulled off impressive things and with 1d prep, I definitely think he can take the win.

Doom has done things like changing his DNA, create magneto's helmet, reprogramming Ultron, seperating Hulk from Banner, and the list goes on but you get the idea. I don't think Brainiac is a slouch when it comes to prep, he has conquered worlds with ease but I just think Doom has superior prep feats and he can definitely take on Brainiac while Annihilus takes on DS.

@rampagethefirst: I still think with one day to prep it won't be enough.

It could go one of two ways;

Darkseid arrives and Omega Effects the lot of them.

Doom has some insane scheme which absolutely owns them or forces them into retreat. ie He knows the antilife equation or something stupid like that.

Doom can turn it into a year of prep, not that it is necessary.

Darkseid arrives and Omega Effects the lot of them.

The Omega effect wont do anything, Diana has resisted it with her bracelets and Doom has a lot of magical items in his arsenal so he could potentially resist it.

Exactly what happens every time lol.

Doom uses time travel and extends his prep to a decade or more, using the technology feedback loop to make his tech more and more impressive until he is able to take out both members.

Throw out that and Brainiac's technopathy would make most of the Marvel prep useless. Darkseid's tech combined with Brainiac's is also a massive problem as it's effectively boom tubes rigged with whatever Brainiac can throw in. That, and their combined army (Brainiac's many probes and ships, the Collector ship, the Mothership, the Horde, and his many, many nodes, as well as Darkseid's Apokolips fleet) would heavily outnumber anything the Marvel team could pull out. I know numbers aren't everything but obviously a force that big and powerful would undoubtedly prove to be a problem.

DC team if Doom doesn't abuse time travel (which he will)
