Darkseid got depowered after the Crisis ITS FACT and ITS CANON. Almost every character went though changes after the 1985 Crisis.
Darkseid has trouble with Superman a number of times, he has trouble beating him more than once. His OE beam is now Walmart cheap, people have blocked the Omega Effect, dodged it or out ran it. He is no longer the power house he was during Kirby's day.
@bladeoffury: I've heard that jargon before. Still laughable. Radion doesn't automatically make NG keel over. Orion has been bombarded by Orion and still fought his way through. The only reason Darkseid was shot by Batman in FC was because he was inhabiting the body of Dan Turpin at the time and he wasn't even killed by him either way. And Surfer can't just pull Radion out of the blue in random fights. He doesn't even use his CA in character to do that.

None of the marvel bricks from this team ever fought anybody this fast. Darkseid is the one who can blitz here. Not that he needs to. Omega beams will reduce this team by half or less initially. Any survivers will probably get BFRd for good with omega sanction and the match is over.
Annihilators, especially if bloodlusted. Unless he has some energy manipulation resistance feats I'm not aware of, Quasar can deal with the Omega beams, and at that point Darkseid doesn't have much against the Annihilators Hax+Power.
@the_badman: My bad, misinterpreted you. But I'm genuinely interested since post-crisis I haven't seen too many great feats for Darkseid to do stuff like tank planetary explosions. I bet it's out there, I just haven't seen it.

Haha okay you think they've never encountered a speedster before? Half of this team can travel FTL, and have had run-ins with Runner and Makari so yes they know speed.
@kevd4wg: Excluding unquantifiable/bullcrap feats like surviving a bomb that can "rip apart existence", the only energy durability feat I remember is tanking Astro-Force blasts from a bloodlusted Orion. That should be enough to tank Surfer's blasts as well.
@smoothsanta: Gladiator is most definitely getting one-shotted. Bill get two shotted if not one. Neither pack the power to survive an encounter with Darkseid, let alone floor him. Though the whole team might take it, I'm not certain as I'm not familiar with most of them.
LOL at Gladiator getting one-shotted, especially if at full confidence. Show me a scan of darkseid one-shotting superman or Martian Manhunter and i'll believe you. Beta ray bill is thor level too. My god.
How powerful is gladiator exactly? Quasar become useless when paired up against a non-energy user. Ronan is basically fodder. SS and BRB are the only ones left and it depends whether you think a bloodlusted surfer could take on DS or not.
