Anakin Skywalker vs. Sasuke Uchiha

This is a battle between Mangekyo Sharingan Sasuke and RotS level EU Anakin Skywalker.

The battle takes place in Corescant and halfway through the battle, Obito uses Kamui to transport them to The Land of Iron.

Dare I ask what Sasuke can do? And is this New Canon or Legends Anakin? And is Anakin hindered emotionally (so his weaker incarnation)?

@uberhikari: There is no "Movie" Anakin. You're referring to New Canon Anakin - which includes the Movies, The Clone Wars Animation, the film Novels, and all future EU coming out now and later (starting with issues 1&2 of Son of Dathomir).

Movie Anakin may not be canon anymore but that doesn't mean he can't be used in battles. The picture in the OP is of movie Anakin, hence the confusion.

@uberhikari: The picture was of Anakin from the RotS timeline. It has nothing to do with whether it is film version or not, unless the OP directly specifies it.

I know where the picture is from. It's the film version of Revenge of the Sith Anakin Skywalker. And it does have to do with whether or not it's the film version. According to the comicvine rules the picture used in the OP is the version being used, which in this case is the film version. Pictures take precedent and then it's most recent canon version. However, the films are no longer canon. That's why I asked the OP to clarify since if this is the film version Anakin gets stomped.

@uberhikari: Of course the film version is canon (what in the world are you talking about?), and this is Comic Vine, so that should default to that iteration, but as you said, if film version gets stomped, the obvious alteration would be to use a version that wouldn't be stomped and therefore could generate discussion.

Sorry, I made a mistake. The EU is now non-canon. And it's being replaced by a new Unified Canon.

Sasuke would Blitz Anakin and kill him without hesitation, and Sasuke is leagues faster than Anakin. As soon as Anakin makes eye contact it's over anyway.

We're adding EU feats, than that goes to Anakin with little difficulty, we're talking about he being able to defeat multiple skilled enemies without much difficulty, has faced beings far beyond Sasuke's skill (lest we forget the son who was able to do much of what Sasuke did). But let's look at his feats, the skills with his lightsaber, thanks to the ability to use force sense and force speed, he not only has pre cog, but is able to go faster than any naruto character (watch the clone wars mini series, which is official cannon and shows force speed feats able to reach to the extent of vanishing from the naked eye with Mace Windu, and Anakin was as skilled as Mace by RotS in the skills with a lightsaber and physical aspects of the force). Anakin can also use force barrier, which allows him to soak physical and energy based attacks, than again with force sense, able to sense what people are about to do well before they do it, which is how he's able to defend/deflect attacks with ease. He's also shown feats of taking down creatures far larger than that of the Kyubii and other tailed beasts without breaking a sweat. So yeah, my vote automatically goes to Anakin cause everything Sasuke shows feat wise, Anakin has faced before and came out on top. Then there's the whole using a lightsaber, in which if Sasuke got close, would be killed with utter ease (because there is nothing in the Naruto verse able to deflect a lightsaber). Also if he were to use a genjutsu on Anakin, there's force sense, which let's Anakin sense where Sasuke will be anyway (as we've seen before, mind altering affects have little effect on jedi who use force sense, as per what happened when Dooku was affected by a mind altering poison and was still able to face Ventrus as well as multiple other night sisters).

You all are claiming that Amaterasu is an auto win when it's never killed anyone in the manga or anime. Every time it's used, it's either used on objects, or if it is actually used on a person, the person was able to get rid of the body part. Also it's stated that it ignites at the focus point, so if they focus on the full body, than it won't work, it has to start at one part. It's also bee avoided countless times, and thanks to the force, will allow Anakin to dodge it, thus wasting Sasuke's chance to use it. Than if Sasuke were to get one off on him, Anakin would figure it out and thus get rid of the body part in order to do so (in the clone wars mini series, he became more deadly after his arm was destroyed and not only destroyed an entire group of 10 people, but destroyed their ships without needing a lightsaber or hand as he used the force to choke them, smash them, fling them around, and destroy any chance of escape), so Amaterasu seems to be out of the question. Than there's chidori, which will mean Sasuke will have to get up close to someone who has speed feats and reflexes much faster than him and has a weapon of pure energy which would cut through him without much difficulty, and again, adding Anakins ability to sense through the force will give him the means to dodge out of most any attack Sasuke has.

This is explaining some of the times Amaterasu was dodged, thus showing that it's not an all around, always hit on sight ability. Also with force speed, Anakins reflexes go far beyond that of Ninja in Naruto (do to almost vanishing from the naked eye as their body speeds up as well as reflexes).

"However, the flames burn fairly slowly, sometimes allowing anyone struck by Amaterasu an opportunity to remove whatever clothing or body parts have been caught ablaze."

This alone proves that it's not going to do much since it burns slowly. This will give Anakin the ability to get rid of it IF he were to get hit by it. Now, here's what Force Sense does:

"Force sense was among the most basic of Forceabilities. It could be used to feel another being's feelings, the future, ripples in the Force caused by momentous or traumatic events, impending danger and the presence of the dark side. A more concentrated, more directed form of this ability was likely how Jedi and Miralukas were able to see others without relying on their physical senses."

This states that Anakin would be able to sense if he's about to get put into harms way, and as such, be able to avoid the ability before it's used. This also shows that he can see Sasuke without needing his senses (thus Genjutsu is pointless against Anakin since he's the most powerful of Jedi). So again, everyone people keep stating Sasuke can do is easily deflected/avoidable by Anakin. Oh, and here's Force Barrier for ya, thus adding to thins that will let Anakin fend off against ANY of Sasuke's abilities:

"Force barrier was a very basic application of the Force. Depending on the individual, it manifested itself differently, appearing as a shimmering, stasis field of Force energy,^[5] or sometimes not "appearing" at all.^[12] In combat, these barriers were capable of absorbing a wide variety of physical and energy attacks. Force barriers were only used as defense and couldn't be used as a 'wall'. Depending on the strength of the individual, the barrier could only withstand a few attacks before collapsing. There have been some cases where a barrier has repelled high and low pitched sound. Obi-Wan Kenobi used this technique when a bounty hunter was firing at him with a sonic boom grenade launcher."

So basically do to Anakin being the most powerful force user of the time, and able to do feats even greater than Yoda, he very well can use Force Barrier to pretty much absorb Amaterasu IF Sasuke was even able to get one off, (since Sasuke could only do it once or twice before being fully out of Chakra). So again, how is Sasuke even able to stand up to Anakin?
