99 Mephistos vs Dormammu

Mephisto stalks each universe in the multiverse collecting souls that willingly sign themselves to him. Meanwhile, Dormammu watches each universes and each one of Mephisto's metaphysical manifestations. Dormammu from his home dimension casts a spell that summons 99 Mephistos from 99 universe into his domain. Dormammu also casts a second spell that will not allow each of the Mephistos to combined into one super Mephisto. Dormammu greets the Mephistos and the battle begins from there.

Mephisto: "What is this place!?" (Echo from 98 more Mephistos "Where am I???")

Dormammu: "Welcome little sprite that feeds off souls!"

*In unison by 99 separated Mephistos: "DORMAMMU!!"

Dormammu: "HAHAHAHA!!!"

Mephisto: "You must be really bored with your existence dreaded one by keeping a watchful eye on each of my state of being across the multiverse!"

Dormammu: "I have captivated 99 of your essence. If you wish to be free of this place, then please entertain me."

There is honestly not that much of a difference between Dormammu and Mephisto. Dormammu is the stronger of the two but nowhere near strong enough to take on multiple mephistos

Mephisto should win, even in his home realm I don't think Dormammu could stand 99 Mephistos. Each one should give him somewhat of a fight, though it'd be a mismatch, but 99 are gonna hurt.

Music would go to Cytorrak, he's just so epic, though relatively featless, he's a bada$$.

In Dormmy's own dark dimension? No contest regardless of numbers imo...in a neutral setting the numbers favor Mephisto...

But Mephisto can hardly rival with Dormammu's own creation, Satanish. When Satanish invaded Mephisto's realm, he needed help from Mephista and Dr. Strange.
In another issue, Dr. Strange made complete weaklings out of both Mephisto and Satanish at the same time.
And Satanish being the creation of Dormammu's ho's purpose was to invade other splinter realms so that Dormammu can take over.

Just think of Satanish as the Silver Surfer to Dormammu.

What exactly makes Dormammu so much more powerful than Mephisto?

Seems like Dormammu's got 99 problems and all of them are Mephisto.

While dormammu is more powerful than base Mephisto he's nothing compared to 99 of him. Also remember that all of these Mephistopheles probably have varying power levels as they each lead different lives in different settings. Also about the Sattanish vs Mephisto thing they have a rivalry meaning that Mephisto is in everyway Sattanish's equal. In fact I believe that Mephisto might be more powerful considering that he took on Galactus on equal footing and that he probably has collected more souls as he is I'm sorry but it's true ten times smarter and more cunning than Satanish.

I think Dormmamu could take on a couple Mephistos but 99 of them is way too many. This is an absolute curbstomp. Mismatch.

Well his realm is bigger , and his feat areslightly better.

So yeah i think 1 on 1 Dormammu is more powerful (Mephisto has however killed an alternate reality Dormammu before).

The difference isnt anywhere close to significant enough to suggest this isnt a massive, massive, stomp.

Dormammu is stronger because his... "realm" (wink wink) is bigger, and his feet are better? Well okay, I didn't know looks and endowment had such a big effect on these guys power levels but you're the expert.

Dormammu. Conservation Of Ninjutsu will lead to each Mephisto jobbing hilariously until there are only two. The last extra will sacrifice himself for some reason, and it will just come down to 1 Mephisto vs. 1 Dormammu, and 'Mammy wins.

If you wanted mephisto to win so badly you should have had the fight in his realm

It isn't like that since the same alternate reality Dormammu was still weakened to a level of being just a fraction of what he was:

The gap of power between Dormammu and Mephisto isn't small, but rather astronomic as Steve Englehart created Hellcat to show Dormammu's superiority over Mephisto even on Hell. I don't think that Dormammu wins here, but I don't think he gets stomped either.

I really want to debate about it, so this is the reason I bumped the thread.
