Yesterday we saw a super short teaser for the teaser trailer. Then a shaky bootleg version came online. Now you can watch the officially release trailer.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters March 25, 2016.

Eh, pretty much what i expected, still moderately interested in this, but honestly Suicide Squad has me more excited.
@child_of_the_past: honestly, good question
Seriously, shame on whoever leaked the trailer. I was actually excited watching this on Monday but oh well. I cannot wait to see Superman and Batman clash on the big screen for the first time! This movie and Star Wars are top on my list of must watch movies in the future!

Snyder said those who go to the event still get a special something
huge DC comics fan. huge SM fan. have been really looking forward to this movie.
it's basically what i expected. DC is trying too hard to be dark, gritty and "edgy". i'm waiting for Superman's costume redesign with him in a hoodie. the whole thing stinks of "design by committee".
not a fan of this. and have very low expectations of this now. the reviews will mirror what Man of Steels reviews said.
Did everything a teaser should do. And I personally loved it.
I turned into a spaz after watching this. I've watched it 4 times in a row. My heart just explodfrfregjwnbdjkgnkjfhmbk
@thefirstlantern: Love the fact of the video been here. Hate the fact of WB having to bow to internet terrorism.
Hell yes!

exactly. It's a teaser. They are not gonna show much at all

I think the false God aspect can be something really interesting if it is done right. The brief shot of Affleck in the Bat suit look good. I do wonder though how much of the film will take place during the night though, I do understand that Batman is in the film so he can't really operate in the day time.
Overall I thought it was a good teaser trailer
That was glorious. Now I just need to see if Batfleck fights in as silly a manner as Bale or if he goes at them proper like. Could not be more excited for this.
Ugh... looks quite underwhelming even for a teaser.
I ask this seriously, cause a lot of people are saying this. What did you expect?
Batman's armor looks cool but the voice is kinda odd. The helm of Batman reminds me of Future Batman from the DC Universe Online but without the lines on the forehead.
tell that to the bored wars trailer. yawn
Ok, I will now board the hype train. This looks great, leaves you wanting so much more.
I love the Dark Knight Returns inspirations (@frozen get over here!).
Marvel and DC are doing great work in the film departments, great to see these characters treated seriously on the big screen. Great time to be a comic book fan.
Dose anyone else think fat batfleck here?
That DCUO opening intro is nuts. If the JL movie looks anything like that, i'll be happy.
@blueninjapanther: it looks like lego batman haha
I hope this movie is good. I don't want to see a bad movie like Man of Steel (poorly structured and so tonally dissonant). How this was cut dosen't give me much hope, I get that it acknowledges the reaction to MoS and wors that in, which it should. But it feels like it has an unearned seriousness to it. Like MoS it's operating on baroque imagery but without all the verve and vigor that earns a serious attitude.
Glad they are using a voice modulator for Bat voice, that just is a smart move. Interested to get a better view of the suit. The cape and cowl rubber texture contrasts with the kevlar weave body suit.
"Tell me, do you Bleed" "You will" is some terrible Frank Miller-esque dialog. Other than its importance and reverence, using The Dark Knight Returns as a visual foundation for the film seems like the wrong move. That was about two old war buddies coming into conflict ala The Wraith of Khan. That isn't a first contact story. I rewatched The World's Finest two parter from Superman: The Animated Series, now that is how you do a first contact story.
EXPANDED THOUGHTS on the Trailer and its comparisons with the new Force Awakens trailer.
Ugh... looks quite underwhelming even for a teaser.

Avengers I would assume.

Lol, seriously. I seriously don't get why people say this is underwhelming though. It gave us just as much as the first Age of Ultron teaser, and even more than the first Star Wars one. Yet people don't think it's enough?
@the_stegman: The most exciting thing to me was hearing Neil deGrasse Tyson's voice i didn't even know he was attached to the movie in any way. I can't get over that Batman(one of my favorite characters of all time) is played by Ben Assfleck, saying one of the most corny and idiotic line ever... a line that could only come out of Frank Millers Batman. Now if this was a 30 second teaser i could understand but why is this even called a teaser when it's over 2min long? Yet it really doesn't tell us anything... Weren't there suppose to be other superheroes? WW, Aquaman, Flash, etc?? And considering the ever amusing intelligence of Zack Snyder i really don't want to see him tackling the issue of Jesus-Superman. I mean he did it so well and subtle in MOS.
In short i expected to see a lot more in a 2 min teaser then just Batman and Superman starring each other down.
"Do you bleed? You will."
Someone get me a barf bag.

We got Tone, We got the world who seemingly loved Superman, now afraid of him, we got a Lex Luthor quote about "Devils not coming from hell beneath, but from above." We got the Jeremy Irons' Alfred assumingly talking to Bruce about his feeling of helplessness corrupting him, which may well be a factor in why he fights Superman. We see Superman was once a messiah figure, people clamoring to touch him, the military bowing before him. We get the money shot face off that everyone wants to see. We see more of the Batmobile and the Batplane. It gave us plenty.
I wasn't expecting a full blown Justice League to be shown, heck, I don't even think they'll have huge parts to play in the movie (besides WW). I say this teaser did everything it should do and more.
And you not liking Affleck has nothing to do with the quality of the trailer.
I LOVE this! I loved MOS, and I cannot wait to see more on Monday in IMAX!
I love how it is showing a reaction to Superman that matches the criticisms MOS received. Not criticisms shared by me personally, but I know they are there.
Color pallette-wise and visually it reminds me a lot of WATCHMEN. Which works perfectly well for me, as I loved that movie.
Not all comic book movies need to have the same tone. Marvel is doing great with their sensibilities. WB needs to carve out it's own path, and this teaser proves that.
