Poll Who's the best Batman artist, Jason Fabok or Jim Lee? (35 votes)

Jason Fabok 31%
Jim Lee 69%

as Batman artists go, I've never found anyone who caught my eye quite like those two: Jason Fabok and Jim Lee. Their art and styles are very similar, but one has got to have an edge over the other. I was first introduced to Jim Lee's art in Hush and it has completely blown me away! Then came Jason Fabok with the first issue of Batman Eternal and I was at a loss for words literally, to how amazing the cover was. I find Fabok's art to have more accurate and realistic body proportions, while Jim Lee's gritty art and shadow games are second to none. He's come a long way since Hush and so has Fabok, who's currently up to take the entire Justice League serie. So, who's the best Batman artist in your opinion?I urge you to take your time and not rush toward your favourite one, simply choose the more talented one. Thank you.

Both are great Batman artists, I'd give a slight edge to Lee though.

Lee is easily better than Fabok, but that doesn't mean he's the best Batman artist. Personally, I don't like either of their styles all that much. There's just not much to it. It serves to tell the story, but not with much flair. Greg Capullo is a much better Bats artist.

Lee, especially because I love his art work in Hush.

Neal Adams is the best.

Though their styles isn't necessarily unique compared with styles such as Capullo or Jae Lee, but it's strong because both Lee and Fabok draw Superheroes the way they should look like, as in exactly how one usually imagines "supeheroes". While not really unique, but artistically they rank high.

Here's the difference.

Lee's Batman (left) is "cool superhero badass". Fabok's (right) Batman is "dark scary badass".

You can't use the word best when describing a competition between two people. You use the word better.

Neither of them are the "best" Batman artist.

But I would say I personally think Lee is better.

I don't think either are the best, but I like Fabok's style much more.

Jae Lee would be the greatest Batman artist ever if he ever drew the Batman or DC ongoing. His work in B/S has been nothing short of magnificent.

I haven't actually seen much of Fabok's work but, now I've seen this thread, I plan on reading some of his stuff.
