What's happening with Batman and Zatanna?

Three years ago, a younger me (who had a lot more time on his hands) read every bit of Batman/Zatanna comics I could find because their relationship seemed perfect to me. Like most people, Dini's work left me unsatisfied with their relationship (I mean I know Batman can't be with anyone, but CMON BATS). I left the topic and just remembered it recently since I purchased Batman: The Telltale Series. I went online hoping that in the years past, there would be new content, but those earlier comics seem to be the most intimate Batman/Zatanna storyline I could find. Is there something new that I don't know about with them? I'd love to read it.

Btw, I have seen the comic where Batman and her are married in Zee's dream. Heart-wrenching stuff. I never liked Batman-Catwoman, but is that what's currently working for Bats in the DCU?

plz recommend me some of the bat-zatana stories.. It's really hard to find them.

@batsee: They aren´t good couple. And lot of times he tells that magic is real.

To each their own I guess, I think it's the perfect ending to Batman + Bruce Wayne. They literally know each other since they were kids, how many people can Bruce be comfortable around as BOTH Bruce AND Batman. If he ever wanted to be normal (impossible I know), she's the perfect person to be normal with. Add to the fact she's insanely in love with him. Also, in that one comic (forget the name) when he looks into an amulet of sorts that shows him his hearts desire and he sees himself kissing Zatanna, what more could you want?

They are more in Friendzone that anything currently.

OH that's what you meant. Dang, like I said I really hoped that because of how popular that Zatanna/Batman run was by Dini, 3 years later I would be seeing a lot more of them. So in the new 52, they just have nothing going on? :/ Is Bats seeing Selina?

God bless your soul for this, some of these I haven't read so for sure I'll look into it. I really don't read comics often, what's going on with Zatanna and Bats currently? Please tell me they didn't pair Zee up with someone else and Bats is his normal brooding self

@batsee: So far i think her love interrest were John Constantine and Nick Necro. I dont read Batman, unless it connect to a event, so i dont a list per say.

Zatanna hasnt been featured prominently since Justice League Dark, where her love interest WAS Constantine. Batman is currently too busy saving gotham city, but he will be teaming up with Catwoman to save Gotham Girl soon.

Darn, so much potential for Zatanna and Batman gone to waste.

I guess Batman and Catwoman just sells, so that's what DC is going for. Super disappointing, Zatanna and Batman connect on both a hero and a human level. I hope before I do, if they EVER let Batman have a family story arc, they pick Zee to have it with. Sucks to see her being used in side stories. Any clue if there's anything upcoming for the 2 of them? I'm thinking I start a crowdfunding page and we just pay Paul Dini to write us a Batman/Zatanna happy ending.

I know little to nothing about Zatana and Batman relationship, possibly because I haven't seen anything relating to them, though I do know they've dated. I'm more of a wonder woman and batman fan. Just when they got rid of her and superman and I thought there was a chance, but the current chapter of Wonder woman (#9) destroyed all of that.... sighs... honestly selnia isn't bad but I'm dying to have a new love interest for batman, They need to switch it up sometime. Everyone else either got new lovers or went back to their old ones, but batman stays the same. its gotten lackluster. Can someone tell me are him and selina an official pair in rebirth?

But Zatanna and Constantine make the perfect couple...John loves her so dearly while she hate loves him..And John has been able to betray every person in his life except Zatanna..But Zatanna doesn't know that..She thinks he has betrayed her and will continue to betray her in the future..I mean the whole Justice League Dark works because John tries to fix the mistakes he made to show Zatanna he has changed and he only rescues the team to rescue Zatanna..
