If someone really wanted too be Batman or Similar to him....could it happen in real life?
Can Batman be real?

Comic batman or Movie Dark Knight batman. Dark Knight batman is possible but not highly unfeasible. The amount of Wayne tech he uses plus the batmobile (military only made like 2 and Wayne Enterprises has both) would make it very obvious that Wayne Enterprises is sponsoring him.If someone really wanted too be Batman or Similar to him....could it happen in real life?
In real life the amount of funding one would require has to be nothing short of a mega- millionaire or embezzling money from a company. The training required is phenomenal but not impossible for someone to possess. The psyche of such a person would of course boarder insanity (only an insane person would try to do anything like that anyway).
Comic batman is quite impossible but the writers are on his side...
:P

Superman is real too. There is one in my town. He's black though. So he's a magical negro.

there was a black Superman from another dimension and it was probably related to the magical negro name or something, I don't remember anymore...
No, being able to master every fighting style, science, criminology, and detective skills to that extent in that window of time is impossible.

Christopher Nolan's Batman would be possible, comic Batman is impossible. No one in our world has that kind of intellect.
Crime is so high that a guy with no special powers (other than a preternatural lack of embarrassment when wearing a black leather unitard) can stumble upon crime after crime just by cruising around the city. With Superman and Spider-Man, their super powers explain their ability to always be where the action is. Batman, on the other hand, is basically just a really good bouncer at a really shitty bar. If Superman stops five muggings in a night, it's reasonable to believe that those were the only five muggings in Metropolis that night. If Batman stops five muggings, those are muggings that just happened to be going on when he strolled by. In other words, if you're walking around Gotham at night, and for some reason aren't dressed in your bat costume, you could conceivably get mugged five times.
I'd argue comic batman is possible up until he first meets up with the other super heros...but it's still improbable. I remember back in September or maybe August someone on here was asking how long it would really take to train to be able to do all the physical things Batman can...I shit you not some dude was goin back and fourth with me about how it could be done in three months....no.

hahahaha
Well mastering one martial art takes YEARS so imagine 126(Parkour isn't a martial art so it isn't 127) but If lets say you did 5 years of one martial art every day for 8 hours, then maybe you could master it. My dad got some thing like a black belt in 1 year for going to kung fu for, 1 year for 3 days, and 2 hours each day, so maybe.
Yes but not to the extent of comic batman. Maybe more like a Christian bale batman, or it could be a very smart guy that knew 2 or 3 martial arts, had a balance between speed and strength, some acrobatic training, training in stealth, escapology, disguise, and access to cool gadgets.
None of that is too far fetched with years of training except the gadgets.
And notice I said "some" training, not a master of all those things, but just good enough to use them.
No. The amount of training, combined with the resources necessary is impossible.
don't say that, you are ruining my dreams
I wouldn't exactly say it's impossible, just highly improbable. If we're going by exactly what Batman is in the comics and not compromising with the Nolan films, you need a guy who has studied a bunch of different martial arts and who has enough intellect to master several different fields of science, specifically engineering since besides needing all that money to fund his technology, he would practically need to invent several of those same tools Batman uses. To have all of those traits seems impossible, but I contend that it totally is, it's just very difficult to find someone who reaches all the necessary criteria...
I believe that it is possible to surpass Nolan's Batman.
Batman used The Keysi Fighting method in that movie which I'm sure someone could master and a few other types of combat. The only problem is that the enemies you will fight won't be like the ones in the movies where they all watch Batman as he fights them one by one.
Anything can happen. People who don't think he can be real got no fantasy or hope in the world. I believe it. Innervenom: I swear if someone who is trained like 20 years of kickboxing and 10 years of free running could mix some combat up like Batman does. Much gym and training it takes. Intelligence to create something like he do. It can very much happen.
@galacticravenous: except for ...you know.... his sh*tload of gadgets, his mastering of every single skill on earth, his cape-gliding, undetectability, being able to fight like 15 men at once, etc
@modernww2fare: Because he got training area in Batcave with holograms and stuffs.
Batman is possible. A rich guy could just get a masters in computer science, MBA, forensics, and detective skills. Then he tours the world and and learns as much as fighting styles within ten years, while training his body to peak human condition. He then buys a crap ton of gadgets and equipment with his money. The real question is, do we really need a Batman. Are there threats in a city equivalent to Joker, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, or Bane? Right now, a Batman is not needed, but who knows what the future holds.
Yes -the concept of batman is possible, his suit is also possible infact Nolans batman suit is a real working suit that can glide and everything comic book batman is impossible and op as fuck
No. First off you would need to be a billionaire to afford the things Batman has, and you would probably go broke pretty fast buying new items and repairing damage to your equipment. Then you would have to master 100+ fighting styles. It takes years to truly master one style, let alone 100+. And we're talking beyond blackbelt level here. And the amount of physical training you would have to do would take years and some more years. Then the intelligence required. You'd have to be in the top 3-5% of intelligence people on the planet. Plus learning all the other skills and the time it would take out of your life. You could do nothing but be Batman
