Hello Everyone,
I am looking for an Italian or Spanish (Spain) artist/illustrator. He has worked on a comic series that I believe the name was "Sangri "Sangre" or "Sanguine", it was about an angel.
I remember from his process work that he completed very detailed pencil drawings (shading and all) and then went back over with washes of acrylic paint. Most of his work was supernatural in scope. One of his pieces that stuck in my mind is of a demon/demons in front of a cathedral with boulders and it had a really forced vertical perspective with the demon's leg in the foreground to the left of the entire image.
I believe his name was Federico/Frederico/Fernando, I followed him on Facebook until I deleted my account and forgot his name. He is maybe in his mid 30s to 40s.
It is driving me nuts that I can not find him. Also, I remember viewing the comic for sale on amazon as a multiple issue softcover.
