Recent Drawings: My Art!

After thinking about it a bit, I decided that I will compile all of my art in one place. If you go to the comment section of this post you'll see I will regularly be posting new drawings there (Mostly Disney-related).

For the few of you who actually like my "Recent Drawings" blog posts, fear not! I will continue to post those but as I was updating my Deviantart page last night I realized that a lot of my sketches and art pieces aren't worth to have a blog post of their own (yes that is how low I think of some of my art).

So I thought of having it all compiled in one blog post to give those lesser sketches (judged by me) a chance.

• Recent Drawings: Ultimate Gwen's Monstrosity - In the Ultimate Universe Gwen Stacy is heavily influenced by the symbiotes. Check out how much of a monstrosity this is! (The colored version is in the comments below)
• Recent Drawings: Hope's Grief - My interpretation of how Hope Summers feels after the death of Nightcrawler.
• Recent Drawings: Phoenix Costume Redesign - Originally for one of the Artist Show-Off Costume Contest. I just really liked how the costume looks.
• Recent Drawings: Mystique/M.O.D.O.K. - An unlikely duo I drew this for an Artist Show-Off Showdown.
• Recent Drawings: Deadpool Meets Peanuts - One of the few drawings I am still contempt with. This was also an entry for an Artist Show-Off Showdown but I liked the idea of Deadpool dominating the Peanuts universe. Starting with Snoopy's dog house!
• Recent Drawings: Homage to whiskey Media (Before...) - The art collaboration of me and a friend. This was made before Tested and Screened which is why there is no trace of them in the image, and yes! I know that I haven't made the one with them. I'm still working on it!
• Recent Drawings: Squall Leonhart - I made this as an entry for Giant Bomb's Challange 100: Bon cs Ossi
• Recent Drawings: Hawkeye and Mockingbird - "Love Birds" - Another drawing that I am fond of. While I still cringe when I see Bobbi's nose in this picture, I think it was an overall good attempt at my favorite comic book couple!
• Recent Drawings: X-23 - I hated the cover on X-23's first issue. So I made my own!
• Recent Drawings: "I 'Hurt' my car today... against a lamp post!" - Self explanatory
• Recent Drawings: Wolverine and the X-Men - Kitty Pryde - I hated Kitty Pryde's uniform in WatX. So I recreated it to my own image. This was the first attempt.
• Recent Drawings: Wolverine and the X-Men - Kitty Pryde 02 - Second attempt at the costume and I like it a lot!
• Recent Drawings: Tangled - Have I mentioned that I love Disney? Well, I drew a few stuff Tangled-Related!
• Recent Drawings: Chibi Kitty Pryde and Lockheed - I don't draw a lot of Chibis but this idea just stuck in my head!
• Recent Drawings: Ultimate Black Cat - After reading the Death of Spider-Man: Prologue I thought that Felicia was so cool she deserved a drawing.
• Recent Drawings: Flash Thompson aka Venom - The lack of legs is my favorite part.
• Recent Drawings: X-23 (Colored) - I attempted to color my own drawing!
• Recent Drawings: Scarlet Witch - A new perspective of my favorite red-cloaked mutant.
• Recent Drawings: Harley Quinn Costume Redesign - ImperiousRix made an awesome design for Harley. I just gave it my own personal spin on it.

• Recent Drawings: New 52 - Trinity - When DC's "New 52" was announced I used the JL #1 cover to try and create my own rendition of Wonder Woman's new costume
• Recent Drawings: Maximoff Twins - Two characters in one drawing. Not that good but it didn't feel awkward.
• Recent Drawings: Phoenix - I try to capture a different side of Phoenix. Let's see if I got it right.
• Recent Drawings: Ultimate Kitty Pryde & Spider-Man - The most complicated art blog I've written as I try to capture Shroud and Miles Morales.
• Recent Drawings: Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes - Wasp - I wanted to re-image Wasp's costume from the TV show.
• Recent Drawings: Ultimate Spider-Woman's Nightmare - In the same manner that I drew "Ultimate Gwen's Monstrosity" I came up with this.
• Recent Drawings: Loki the Scarlet Witch - When Loki was still a woman he made himself look like Wanda. Now I combine the two into one.
• Recent Drawings: New 52 - Harley Quinn - Her new costume is staring to grow on me...
• Recent Drawings: Scarlet Witch: "Alas, poor Vision! I knew him" - Shakespeare's Hamlet parody. Guess who's skull it is!
• Recent Drawings: Jean Grey: Emma Frost's Dismay - Between Jean and Emma who is really the victim? They seem to resemble each other.
• Recent Drawings: Recent Drawings: Chibi Spider-Man & Chibi Deadpool's Photo Opp - More Chibis! DP and SM take a picture together! n_n
• Recent Drawings: Batgirl: "Un-Killing the Joke" - Satisfaction of being out of the chair.
• Recent Drawings: New 52 - Red Robin - I drew a male character! For once... :P
• Recent Drawings: Exiles - Drawn for the 85th Artist Show-Off Showdown but I didn't have a scanner before the deadline.
• Recent Drawings: Nico Minoru - Drew Sister Grimm after looking at an ad.
• Recent Drawings: Chibi New 52 Trinity w/ New DC Logo - After the reveal of the new DC Comics logo and all the negative comments I drew in Chibis to make it look better. Then payno colored it and it looks awesome!

• Artist Show-Off Showdown #14- Catwoman. The first time I participated in one of these contests. I didn't win but IcePrince_X did!
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #15 - Cloak and Dagger. I actually like this entry, even now! Blankspot won!
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #17 - Punisher vs. Not my best work but I cheated my way out of this one...
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #24 - Madelyne Prior. I won! Well, because I was the only entry.
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #25 - Dark Avengers. I drew Ms. Marvel, Iron Patriot and Spider-Man but I don't like it!!!
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #29 - White Queen vs Black Queen. Emma vs Selene, this was the first time I won. I still think Slekirk should've won though!
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #30 - Death of Gwen Stacy. I've done many Death of Gwen Stacy drawings, this wasn't the best though.
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #31 - Birds of Prey. When researching the characters to draw them I fell in love with the team concept.
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #32 - Gotham City Sirens. Not particularly happy about this one.
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #43 - Magik. I liked what I came up with. The mirrors...
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #50 - Kick Ass. I just drew Hit-Girl decapitating a Hello Kitty doll.
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #51 - Sisterhood. I paid homage to an Uncanny X-Men cover by Terry Dodson.
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #58 - Deadpool. Same entry from the "Deadpool Meets Peanuts" blog.
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #62 - Mary Marvel. Simple bust sketch of the character.
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #65 - Ultron. Apparently this is one of Inferiorego's favorites of mine. I just think it was kind of sloppy.
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #68 - Wonder Woman. I wanted to show her taking the jacket she wore w/ her costume prior to New 52 off. I didn't like it.
• Artist Show-Off Showdown #85 - Most Evil Super-Villain. I drew Green Goblin with the his worst evil deed... Gwen Stacy.
• Amalgam Contest #05 - Wolverine/Spider-Man. Mine is on page 3.
• Amalgam Contest #06 - Kang the Conqueror/Vision. I still don't understand what was it I came up with.
• Amalgam Contest #07 - Emma Frost/Psylocke. I won!
• Amalgam Contest #09 - Power Girl/Wonder Woman. I actually liked this entry! Of course I didn't win 'cause Pressoblivion's entry owned.
• Amalgam Contest #13 - Mystique/Rogue. Wasn't my best work but I tried inking this myself.
• Amalgam Contest #19 - Batman/Iron Man. I was very happy with how my design turned out!
• Amalgam Contest #33 - Green Lantern/Captain America. I tried coloring this one.
• Amalgam Contest #48 - Ariel "The Little Mermaid"/Soulfire Grace. Don't know anything about the Fathom characters but it seemed to fit Ariel.
• Amalgam Contest #56 - Black Cat/Spider-Man. I couldn't come up with anything until the last minute. Apparently, some people liked it!
• Costume Contest #01 - Emerald Empress. I didn't position the eye very well...
• Costume Contest #06 - Catman. I think he looks a bit like Batman.
• Costume Contest #09 - Venus De Milo. I actually liked what I came up with here but yuenish leshathe's design truly owned!
• Costume Contest #14 - Braniac. Truly a Poor-Man's entry. A pretty boring design at that.
• Costume Contest #16 - Baroness. I won this one. I actually liked this design. It's pretty similar to the original but I added some changes of my own.
• Costume Contest #18 - Selene. Revealing robe, not all that creative but it doesn't suck.
• Costume Contest #25 - Phoenix. This is one of my favorite designs! Same entry as "Phoenix Costume Redesign" blog.
• Costume Contest #28 - Captain Planet. Just updated his look not that interesting.
• Costume Contest #31 - Hawkkeye. I really liked the design of the jacket. Hated the hair!
• Costume Contest #33 - Archangel. First time I try drawing wings. That was fun!

That Tiger and Winnie one is so incredibly awesome man. The expressions, especially. All your stuff is pretty awesome, technically sound, but that one, and the Cyclops one, I personally like the most. Both have a really nice delicate feel to them. The Jedi one as well, is especially technically sound as well!! ^_^

ah, good call, yea that was a classic romantic shot with Hawkeye and Mockingbird :)

Boo at 's Pixie Hollow

I’ve mentioned I work at right? Well, there is a place called “Pixie Hollow” where you get to meet the characters from the recent Tinker Bell movies. I enjoy the company of many of these characters during my breaks and one day I decided it would be fun to draw Tink interact with a child. I then realized that it would be sort of boring for it to be just any child so I made the kid Boo from Monsters Inc.

I might just have to draw more of Boo’s adventures at . What do you think?

Kairi Sketch

This sketch is somewhat old now (from Feb. I think). This is Kairi from Kingdom Hearts. I drew this sketch because I felt that Kairi, being the one character who stares to the sea the most (waiting for her beloved), she needed an iconic “Kairi image”. Sadly I didn’t get it right.

The proportions to this drawing are wrong and the perspective is not what I hoped for. Still I wanted to share this with everyone for when I make a new one (hopefully one I’ll actually like) and I can share it with you all.

Ariel Sketch

Not a lot to say about this one. My favorite Disney movie is The Little Mermaid and while growing up I would repeatedly draw my fictional crush, Ariel. This is just a sketch I did of her.

Tinker

I have always been in love with Disney. The first things I would ever draw were Disney characters, which is why my art portfolio includes a lot of Disney in it. This is just one more for the collection. Hope you like it.
