Hey everyone I'm new to the forum, not sure about protocol yet so I just thought I'd just give a little introduction and post a few things I've worked on over the past week to get the ball rolling.
I'm Daniel, I've done a few indie books and I've got more in the works right now.
I try to make sure I draw something every day. Haha, it usually isn't mermaids but there's a "mermaid-a-day" challenge going on this month so that's why there are so many mermaids right now.
Thanks for letting me share!
New guy, please be gentle!
@danielhookerart: Damn! Good stuff
Thanks everyone ( @wavemotioncannon@theexile285@drmagic@armiv2 ) I have a graphic novel up on Kickstarter right now. Am I allowed to share that in here?
Also if you guys know of any other good places to get the word out there, any good sites or communities, I'm always looking for more ways to spread the word and I'd love your help if you're willing to give it.
@danielhookerart: That's some pro level stuff right there. Great job!
@legacy6364: Jesus Christ man, I laugh out loud every single time I see you post that GIF, specially when it's a completely unexpected topic or when you do it on a spite thread. Ahhahahaha
@danielhookerart: these are great and welcome!
Thanks yall! I assume I'm not the only one here who's pursuing a career in comics. I've done a handful of indie books and I draw every day :)
Technique you handle expertly (the poses, composition, coloring).
But characters look dull, and three of the merpeople look too similar.
I like the 3. pic, because of the retro-vibe.
OF COURSE you`re allowed to share your OWN PROJECT. This is a comic site. It`s the "I can help you earn 10 000 dollars a month with this simple tip"-forums the mods dislike.
