My Original Characters, tell me what you think. Critiques welcome.
@uncanny_xfactor: Thanks, man! Glad someone finally commented. I'm not one for attention, but it would be nice to get more input.
Your design for Hepinset, The Lost Pharaoh is the strongest by far... really cool! I love your style and the costumes all look very sleek... perhaps too sleek really. My suggestion would to be to not be afraid to add more textures or something bulky to the designs. Maybe throw a tear or two in Valentino von Hagen's pants or a little chin stubble on Maxout or bulk out Sharkman's gauntlets a little. An occasional minor detail like that would add depth and break away from the spandex-like look. But strong designs and appearances... I'd be very interested in see more of them. Keep it up!
These all have a very appealing look to them. Very nice work on varying the head/facial shapes, body types, and postures. It's always good when you are able to tell the difference between characters without having to look at hairstyle and costume. You're ahead of the game. The only very SLIGHT nitpicky thing I might suggest is doing something a little more dynamic with Elastica's arms. They just sort of seem to droop there. AGAIN, this is a SUPER minor subjective opinion on some great stuff.
@m-treacle: @blancosombra: Thanks, guys. I'm a huge fan of the traditional superhero spandex look, which is why there aren't many bulky, unnecessary parts on their costumes, but I do agree with you that there could be a bit more variety, depth, and texture. Thanks for the feedback, I'm going to take your suggestions into consideration.
@mysticmedivh: Thanks, he's a favorite of mine, also.
@ecstaticgrace: Thanks. I added that little moniker, because he's a man out of time. He was a pharaoh ruling Egypt one minute, and a time displaced superhero the next. In a way, he is lost.
@comicman1000: What are you doing with them?
@batkevin74: Well, I'm still not entirely sure. I'm working on a few sequential pieces featuring them, but no concrete story.
@flumox56:Thanks!
@revan2424: He's a Templorian, they're able to harness the powers and properties of celestial bodies, like stars, black holes, etc. Not all Templorians share the same abilities. Stellar here can manipulate star energy and redirect or absorb it. He can also see in infrared. My villain Black Abyss is able to create mini to massive black holes. They all share super strength, being able to lift up to 30 tons, and can fly in the vacuum of space.
@nerevarine_11: Thanks!
@comicman1000: First of all dope my favorites are:
- Hepinset
- Stellar
- Gale
- Valentino
Secondly do you do commissions?
@knightshadow: Thanks. He's a favorite of many.
@monarch_chronicle:Thanks. Not at the moment, since I have so much on my plate right now, but I'll definitely keep you posted.
@darkonast: Well, I sometimes write short stories featuring them from time to time, but they never get anywhere, since I'm not the best writer. I do have a few friends who write long pieces featuring them, and I plan on turning them into a comic one day. I've been trying to hone my sequential style for comics, and I'll upload those images on here soon.
@king_nomarch: Thanks!!!
One more
@van_cere: Thanks, man! They are, plus Maxout and Moxie.
@comicman1000: Sharkman is my favorite of the bunch. Good job, nonetheless!
@jexsu: Thanks! He seems to be a favorite.
@hyiena: Thanks!!
