Awesome Art Picks: Captain Marvel, Spider-Gwen, Wolverine, and More

Each week we search for the coolest comic book art that you won't see in actual comics. The reason you won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their blogs, Tumblrs, and websites. Some artists even pre-arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.

Todd Nauck posted this Robin pic on the back of an RSVP for a friend's wedding and shared it on his Tumblr.

Ramón Pérez posted a couple commissions on his Instagram page.

Mike Deodato posted this Iron Man and Captain America pic a couple months ago on his Tumblr. He just posted another version colored by Marco Lesko.

Everytime I see Brett Booth draw a spider character it just makes me want him drawing a spider man book. I don't even read spider man but I would buy it just for the art.

Healthy dose of Spider-Gwen. Almost everyone I like has posted their take on her at this point.

Love to see the art these talented peeps put together . I think it's pretty amazing no matter what character it is , but one thing I don't seem to agree on is the whole Spider-Gwen "thingy" not a fan what so ever . . Although being a big fan of marvel and the things they've done altogether in comics I haven't really liked the direction of the "Spider-Verse" nor the direction of Thor.

Philip Tan's Talon (Calvin Rose) is bad ass! I'm glad some one drew him, he was a great character who didn't get much recognition.

I always dig Brett Booth and Marcio Takara's stuff and I think there is no character that Todd Nauck can't draw. But this week's standout is Philip Tan's Talon! Holy smokes that thing is fantastic. Oh, and Dustin is also great as always.

Brett Booth's Spider-Gwen is dopeness. Ramon Perez's spider characters are also sick.

I swear, Phillip Tan could draw a paper bag and make it look baddass. I get a bit fed-up of seeing Galactus as seen by humans. I would love too see these talented artists do varous vesions based on what other aliens see. I skrull version etc. Maybe an idea for future 5 minute challenges...
