Artist-Showoff 152: It's Ragnarok!

There's a likelihood this has been done before but I'm just so excited for the upcoming Thor film and let's do this contest based on that.

Simply make an "End of the World" scenario with, of course, superhero/es in them. You can have the battle of Ragnarok as the title implies. You can have superheroes saving people from a global destruction. You can even make a Judeo-Christian end of the world theme with the final battle of good vs evil. DC, Marvel, Image, Valiant, whatever. Go crazy. Anything that shows "the end times" can work. Just make sure you got superheroes in them m'kay?

Edit: Since it has no entries, deadline is set to the 25th of March. If no entry til then then we can scrap the contest. Hehehehehe!

Interesting topic. I'm looking forward to the entries that come in towards the deadline. These multi-character pieces take time, but they're worth it.

I could not find nor make a suitable apocalyptic background/scenario, mainly because my style of artwork isn't that complex, but I have made a character that fits the Ragnarok theme. The image of the character is a PNG file, so if someone wants to, they have my permission to place him wherever they imagine.

Concept

Gravetorn is based on the Dark Elves from Thor: The Dark World. He is a rogue Dark Elf that took refuge on Midgard, being the last survivor of the assault lead by Malekith, in which his brethren were killed. He has replaced his former attire with more fantastical-type clothing and armor, including the mask, yet retains the same weapons and gadgets (specifically the black hole grenades on the right side of his waist). While on Midgard, he's having trouble blending in and has even come into contact with many Heroes and Villains alike. Gravetorn has also learned various Human martial arts and weapons techniques.

It seems it's not garnering much interest and I usually don't participate in my own contests, but if there are no more new entries, I might just do so for the sake of competition.
