My apologies everyone on the slow start to November, I'm currently down in Atlanta and without my normal equipment while I get some work done with Bob Burden & Roxanne Starr. I'm not going to be back to full force untill after the 8th but M.S. Feather has offered to lend a hand and hopefully we can get the polls up for October before then.

Well thanks to the SUPER AWESOME M.S. Feather we got the polls up for October sooner rather than later.

I just added the link for the November submission thread and am finally back on my home equipment and can start catching up on what I've missed.

My apologies on the delays this month, it's been a very busy 3 weeks out of town but very cool things were being produced :)

I pushed the results for October up a few days to compensate for the late start. October results have been posted.

I think we saw some of the best B&W work last month and it's no surprise the artist of the month is someone who's produces some of the most beautiful B&W work on the vine. Big congrats madrid_san on a very well deserved month and to all artists on the fantastic entries. :)

@Shatterstar: damn man, your a living machine, I hadn't even started to count through them. What I'll be doing is counting all the votes a person got in any category as a point, so you don't have to have won a category to accumulate points, you get one everytime someone voted for you.

I won't be including myself in that count however as it wouldn't be really fair ;)

So if there's any old polls or months anyone hasn't voted in, nows a great time to go soak them in and cast a vote, they will all count.

ok folks, after a LOT of counting and double checking I have the results to the first ever Comic Vine Artist of The Year for 2011.

The artists here have consistently provided great entries and been an important part of the showcase. Our Artist of the Year has especially proved how diversified her skill pallet is and the benefits of having a well rounded artistic approach.

I think the real key will be covering every medium as much as you can with good consistent work. That's how she did it :)

No joke.  Almost every single thing I drew last year was either for an event or friend here on this site.  Your opinions are the ones that matter most and are what inspire to go on.  No matter what happens in the near future I can assure you this is the highest honor I could ever receive.
