    Forever People was a DC Comics six issue limited series from writer J. M. DeMatteis and artists Paris Cullins and Karl Kesel.

    DeMatteis expanded upon the origins of the Forever People, he revealed that the Forever People were humans born on Earth, doomed to die, before being brought to New Genesis.

    The series follows them as they return to Earth to fight an oncoming sentient force known as "The Darkness". They are aided by someone named Maya, who turns out to be the consciousnesses of their Mother Box.
