History
In the early 20th century, an age of rising immigration, labor riots, and sweatshop fires, the Upward Path was formed to try and preserve order in the city of New York. This has brought them into conflict with a number of other parties, including the Sinners, the Street Arabs, others (time-traveling criminals Dale and Stacy Yorkes), and more recently, the Runaways.
