A Japanese super hero from DC comics based on poplar giant Tokusatsu heroes like Spectreman, Jet Jaguar and especially Ultraman. He is dedicated to fighting giant monsters which is translated in Japanese as Daikaiju. He comes from a larger group of similar creatures known as the Ultimon Society, a group of Giant Monster killers who survived the Monster Wars that nearly destroy Japan.
In the Final Crisis Aftermath: Dance comics Ultimon Alpha tried to convince Super Bat to become his successor.
