Biography
Tim Bradstreet, a self taught artist, primarily uses models for his projects. Two of his preferred models are Tom O’Brian and actor Tom Jane for the Punisher series. He would also use Jane as a model for Criminal Macabre.
Bradstreet started his comic book work with Dragon Chiang. He has also provided covers for Hard Looks and many Star Wars titles, all at Dark Horse Comics. However, his darker, twisted style seemed to be a perfect fit at Vertigo and he would go on to provide covers for Gangland, Unknown Soldier, Human Target, and his most notable and recognized work, on Hellblazer.
At the same time, his work was seen on the covers of Blade and The Punisher, at Marvel Comics. His art on Punisher would grace the covers through most of the series various incarnations since it’s re-launch with Marvel Knights, and carry over into the MAX Comics imrint.
His covers for both Hellblazer and The Punisher would earn multiple awards and nominations.
Currently Bradstreet is providing covers for Dynamite Entertainment’s Jennifer Blood series.
Other Media
Bradstreet served as a concept artist for Guillermo del Toro on Blade II. He also worked on various promotional material for the Marvel and Lions Gate film, The Punisher. He would return to provide the art for a stop motion animated scene for the extended DVD, depicting Frank Castle on a mission in Kuwait.
He was hired to design an album cover for heavy metal band Iron Maiden for A Matter of Life and Death.
