    Even 10,000 feet above New York, no one escapes the Punisher. As Frank trails the criminal underbelly of the city, he encounters the deadly, mob created villain: The Vulture for a brutal battle against death and gravity. Meanwhile as NYPD detectives get closer to understanding Frank Castle’s new relationship, one of New York’s finest is struggling keep his own Punisher association untraceable.

    Review for The Punisher #3.  The Story: Frank fights the Vulture in the sky's of NYC.  The Good: As expected for a Punisher fight this one is a bloodbath. Both these men want to kill each other, one for money and one for survival and if somebody dies the other will be happy. Just to say it was a great battle. We get a scene with Water and Oscar at the warehouse and we see just how much of a good detective Clemons is. Also this subplot for Norah Winters wanting to be a serious journalist is good....

    Frank faces off against Red Vulture in a deadly battle in the skies high above the city that never sleeps.The GoodI really can't applaud the art on this book enough. Checchetto's pencils and Hollingsworth's color perfectly compliment one another and each has a special synergy with Rucka's script. Checchetto's drawn the definitive version of Red Vulture.     Greg Rucka's first two issues of "The Punisher" have been fantastic. Rucka has completely sold me on his vision for the character and so far his execution has been flawless. His Punisher is more of a gritty and violent urban legend of sorts and I've loved the way he's been written. Almost the entire third issue follows Frank's mid-air fight with the Vulture (who, by the way, looks nothing like the Vulture on the cover) as they flutter all over South Bronx.
