    Luis Álvarez got the costume after first Tarantula died. He consumed Red Skull's mimicked super-soldier serum, which raised him to peak human strength level. He was sent to America to avenge the death of first Tarántula and to kill political refugees. He was joined by Captain America and the two were soon stopped by Spider-Man.

    He also shared a rivalry with Batroc the Leaper and assisted the Punisher in a big attempt to cripple the Kingpin's operations.

    He was captured by the Jury and executed.
