Mark Davies had survived the killer virus that had turned most of humanity into frightening creatures, mutated by the virus. Together with fellow survivor and friend, Karl, the two boys made their way out of London away from the mutants, to the safety of the country, across the channel to France and finally a doomed trip on a space/time machine! When the craft explodes, the children use the escape pods to return to earth. One more adventure remains, fighting a robot in the mountains...
