    Beginning a bold new series that details the relationship between The Man of Steel and the Warrior Princess as rising star writer Charles Soule is joined by fan favorite artist Tony S. Daniel to tell the tale of a romance that will shake the stars themselves. These two super-beings love each other, but not everyone shares their joy. Some fear it, some test it—and some will try to kill for it. Some say love is a battlefield, but where Superman and Wonder Woman are concerned it spells Doomsday!

    This issue features an amazing wraparound gatefold cover that opens up to a triptych with Superman and Wonder Woman in the center!

    Note: All characters outside of Superman, Wonder Woman, Doomsday and Cat Grant are appearances on the cover only.

    This is a really good start to a series with a lot of promise and it avoids what I think would ruin the book slightly and instead gives you a big action book with a very deep character relationship. I really enjoyed the issue and was engaged from page 1, but at the end I was fully committed to what was going on here I mean who wouldn’t be with that ending.     While many people called it “stupid” or even “offensive” DC Comics is fully behind the concept of Superman and Wonder Woman being an item, and gave written Charles Soule and artist Tony Daniel the mission of convincing the disgruntled readership that this is a good idea.
