    Mr. A is a vigilante that believes that there is only good and evil, right and wrong, black and white with absolutely no moral grey area. He dons an all-white suit and an expressionless white mask that is made of steel to fight crime and corruption.

    Origin

    Nothing is known about Mr A, save that his real name is Rex Graine, and he is a newspaper reporter working for the Daily Crusader. At some point, and for an unknown reason, Graine assumed the identity of Mr A in order to carry out his brand of justice.

    Creation

    Mr A was created by Steve Ditko. He made his first appearance in witzend #3.

    Major Story Arcs

    Mr A

    Mr A takes to the streets as a vigilante to confront wrongdoers. He enforces his particular view of crime and criminality, believing that there are no grey areas, no second chances, and no excuses for committing evil acts. Often this leads to him acting as judge, jury, and executioner of those he deems to be morally corrupt.

    The character of Rorschach was partially based on Mr A, specifically his uncompromising, black-and-white morality.

    Powers and Abilities

    Mr A has no known superhuman powers or abilities. He is a skilled investigator and reporter. He is also a skilled hand-to-hand combatant.

    Weapons and Equipment

    Mr A wears a placid steel mask which covers his face, as well as metal gloves. He also carries business cards that are half black and half white.
