The dinosaurs of an earlier time were so small of brain, that the quadrupedal breeds required a set of ganglia at the base of the tail to control the beast's back half.
Amazing what evolution can provide...
This mutant hybrid of dinosaur and man has a fully developed brain in his a... ahem... tailbone. Aside from greater memory capacity, Doctor Dinosaur cannot be rendered unconscious unless you can ring his bells with a sock to the head, and give him a good swift kick in the... er... tailbone ganglia.
