The boy who would become Chatterer

Chatterer was only a young boy when he discovered the box while playing with it he inadvertently triggered a living nightmare worse then death, or perhaps even Hell itself, and was transformed into the Cenobite Chatterer. Now he is Hell's 2nd lieutenant to Pinhead, ''The Angel of Suffering'', a child of misery who sought redemption from the Lament Configuration and only found the indulgence of pain. His solitude and misery forever accompanied by the echoes of the sound of his Chattering teeth.

In the Hellraiser comic book series, he is depicted as being the latest incarnation of the Cenobite spirit Mictlantecutli, an entity derived from Aztec mythology.

In all worlds the ambitious and those who excel are rewarded. The world of hell is no different and so in honor of his visceral 'gift' for tortured ecstasy, his skills in the manipulation of bloodied flesh and his loyalty and servitude at Pinhead's side within the ranks of the order of pain Chatterer would receive the gift of his sight through hell's evolution.

The Chatterer has created possibly the most physically brutalized cenobite of all the Torso. Forged in flesh to forever resemble his master, the Torso has the chattering torment as well.

    Death

After Phillip Channard ascended to become a Cenobite, he immediately did battle with Pin-Head, Chatterer, Butterball and the Female Cenobite. During the battle Channard killed Butterball, the Female Cenobite and Chatterer, after being impaled into one of the columns and killed be Chanard, Chatterer reverted into his human child form.
