The Psycho-Man is to blame for a rise in anti-mutant sentiment! After a strange encounter in an abandoned movie theater, Copycat is kidnapped while wearing Kane’s face!

    Synopsis

Called mysteriously to San Fransisco, Cable and Domino notice an inordinate amount of anger and confusion around the city. They arrive at a burned out theater and enter to find Garrison Kane and Copycat. Kane had arrived from his rehab in the future to start a new life as a normal person with Copycat, but find that there is no escape from mutant hate.

Bad blood still exists between Domino and Copycat (after Copycat had impersonated Domino for a year) and the two crank up their hatred to the point of an all-out fight. Cable chases after them while Kane is confronted by uncontrollable fear. Cable finally snaps the ladies out of their fight and they realize that all this negative emotion can't be natural. Copycat rushes to find Kane.

From the ashes of the theater, a massive being named Psycho-Man emerges with Kane and shrinks away. Kane himself then appears and states that Copycat switched places with him and they now have to follow after her. A massive ship appears to assist in the pursuit.
