Buzz Lightyear is a character from the Toy Story Movies and Comic Series. He is a Space Age action figure and causes some disturbance when he is introduced in the story, mostly due to the fact that he honestly believed he was an actual Space Ranger. He and Woody were enemies at first, but after surviving terrible hardships together, Woody accepted Buzz, and Buzz accepted that he was indeed a toy.

A animated cartoon based on the character of Buzz was also made by Disney, it tells the story of the Buzz and his fellow Space Rangers, Mira Nova, Booster, and XR, battling the evil Emperor Zurg.

LightyearIn 2000, the film Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins was released, the film serves as the pilot of the animated series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.
In 2022, the movie Lightyear was released, in the movie it is said that the movie Lightyear inspired the creation of the Buzz Lightyear toy. Buzz is voiced by actor Chris Evans.
