    Story: The issue starts off where we were last left. J'onn has just arrived on mars and there is habitual life of trees, plants, and beautiful nature. He goes into the pyramid and meets D'kay D'razz, the other martian. She wants J'onn to love her but J'onn says that he can never love a murderer. D'kay takes his response bad and starts fighting him in one of the most vicious fights I have ever seen in a comic book. She merges her mind with his to show him her past of how she is actually the first...

    Issue 12 of Brightest Day.  The Story:We start with J'onn arriving on Mars and the other martian,named D'kay,is waiting for him.And they talk and she says that they need each other to repopulate Mars but J'onn doesn't want to know any of this.And the two start fighting and we learn that D'kay made martians that couldn't be read by other martians to be read by them.So the high council of Mars imprisoned for 200 years and when she gets out,she was transported to Earth and goes completely undercove...

    The Good: Hooo boy. As a huge fan of Martian Manhunter this issue was set to be fantastic from the start. There's a lot of J'onn, and the plot and dialogue for him are excellent. We learn D'Kay's backstory and it's actually really interesting. It didn't seem like an ass pull at all, and it even explained everything that's happened with her so far. The way D'Kay tries to mess with J'onn's head was brilliant, and really well done. It showed us into the heart of J'onn and gave us some good characte...
