    Arak, Valda, Malagigi and Satyricus sail eastward toward Arak's homeland, but land instead upon an island where they are caught between the warring Japanese and Ezo tribesmen. And if that weren't bad enough, an Oni sky demon plagues the land. Will Arak ever get home?

    The End of the Arak Saga 0

    I must admit to feeling a little disappointment with this 'Giant Sized Last Issue'. True, it is a bit longer than your average issue of Arak, Son of Thunder; also true that it has some finality about it. But it seems that Roy Thomas either had his attentions too divided between this and other projects, or just plain lost interest in it as he was being courted by Hollywood in the wake of the success of the 'Conan' franchise.Whatever the case, the story is another average sword-and-sorcery tale, e...
