    Origin

    Nothing is known about Anthony Lilliman. While an ordinary clergyman working at the Larkhill resettlement camp, he was one of the few to survive the escape of V. Following this, he was appointed Bishop of Westminster by Adam Susan.

    Creation

    Bishop Lilliman was created by Alan Moore and David Lloyd. He made his first appearance in Warrior #6.

    Major Story Arcs

    V for Vendetta

    Lilliman is targeted for revenge by V, who sends Evey Hammond dressed as one of the young girls who Lilliman habitually abuses. He attempts to rape Evey, but she escapes after she hits him with a lamp, stunning him. He pursues her through the building, but is confronted by V, who speaks to Lilliman and forces him to undergo a twisted communion, ultimately feeding him a cyanide-laced wafer, killing him.
