    Origin

    Andre Mexer was a young mutant whom lived in Brazil. In his neighbourhood, he had joined a street gang. But greater things where destined for him.

    Creation

    Andre Mexer was created by Jean-David Morvan and Philippe Buchet and first appeared, seemingly as a one-time character, in the French original "Wolverine: Saudade" one-shot. He first appeared in America in Wolverine: Saudade, the American version of the one-shot. After almost 10 years, Andre appeared on the scene again in the pages of Generation X.

    Creation

    Andre Mexer met Wolverine when he traveled to Brazil to recruit him for the Xavier Institute. Mexer's street gang and Wolverine came into conflict with Kuhrra Daizonest - a local self-styled healer and thug. Mexer was kidnapped and brought to Daizonest it be tortured and was lobotomized because Mexer's use of his powers somehow inflicted pain on the healer, even when miles away. Wolverine rescued the boy from work in a labor camp and brought him back to the institute.

    Generation X

    Unable to heal him to prior to the lobotomization, Mexer eventually grew up to become the janitor at the Institute in Westchester.
