CRIME IN COSTUME last edited by luphawk on 06/03/20 08:44AM View full history "CRIME IN COSTUME" (Hawkman) Carter and Shiera are invited to a costume ball where they are to dress as Hawkman and Hawkgirl."MYSTERY OF THE MILLON DOLLARS" (Flash) Jay and Joan are on their way to a cast party after a play when a rich man mistakes Jay for a tramp because of his costume and gives him $1,000,000, challenging him to spend it in one night."MARKED FOR DANGER" (Ghost Patrol)"Terror Rides The Rails" (Atom) Al Pratt is returning home, from college, on the G & L Railroad, when the train violently derails. Pratt, as the Atom, clears the wreck from the track, before the next train can collide with it. The Atom meets with Jane Wilson, the owner of the G & L Railroad. Wilson has been riding her line, in the hopes of discovering who has been sabotaging it. The Atom pushes the train back to the station. The Atom discovers the train yard policeman, recovering from an attack. Thugs have commandeered one of the trains. Using a handcar, powered by his incredible super-human strength, the Atom quickly catches up to the train. Seeing no one at the controls, the Atom physically stops the train, only to be ambushed, and beaten into unconsciousness. The Atom awakens, tied to the tracks, with a train bearing down on him. The Atom easily snaps his bonds, but in doing so, destroys part of the track. Holding the broken tracks in his hands, the Atom holds the track together, long enough for the train to safely pass over him. After tending to the engineer, the Atom catches up with the thugs, at the G & L roundhouse. The Atom beats the living daylights out of the thugs.
