In this collection of the 6-issue miniseries, the Tattooed Man is considered a hero for the first time in his life. At first, it's a welcome change, but things go from bad to worse when he finds his body covered in unfamiliar tattoos with lives of their own.

    Back Blurb

Being a hero isn't skin deep.

Liberty Hill iz a war zone run by rival gangs and crooked cops, but an unlikely hero wants to stop the violence - The Tattooed Man. After earning his Justice League membership, Mark Richards is out to prove he's shed his villainous ways.

As hired supervillains besiege the city Mark promised to protect, the tattoos that cover his body take on a life of their own and dole out brutal justice. If the Tattooed Man doesn't get his powers under control, Liberty Hill will burn, and with it the new life he's built for his family. But when the temptation to claim these streets as his own grows too great, how far will the Tattooed Man go to rule them once again?
