    At the Western Hemisphere opening to the Well Of Souls, in the cavern below Jungle Island, The Black Shroud amasses a battalion of his villains to hold off the FemForce from crossing through to unite with their allies. Unknown to the combatants, Buckaroo Betty Bates has inexplicably been drawn to the present through the Time Triangle, and is having coffee with Nikki Latimer. At what's left of Weir Asylum, Cap'n Joel and Curly find Darkfire is awake, lucid, and maybe understands what all this means!
