Feezle was one of many homeless freaks in Chicago that opted to live underground than face persecution on the surface. He was part of the community led by Rock and was assigned the task of caring for CyberFace when the villain had stumbled upon their territory shortly after his first resurrection and was still in a confused state.

After a number of meetings between Dragon and the Underground Freaks, this homeless tribe were invited to become part of the government’s new Special Operations Strikeforce. Feezle went along to join the hero team but it was soon made clear that both he and Beast Boy were unsuitable for the task and were fired.

They did not want to turn their back on crime fighting all together and instead formed an alliance with Kill-Cat in a new look Deadly Duo. This partnership proved to be a failure too and Beast Boy & Feezle instead joined up with a revamped Brute Force. This team eventually merged with the S.O.S. and other heroes to form one single super-group.

When CyberFace took control of the world, Feezle and many of his old friends took refuge underground. They remained free from the chaos above, living out their lives as scavengers. Dragon recruited the group to join his rebellion against CyberFace and when the dictator was overthrown, Dragon aided them in getting a new home and business, the Rock House Diner.
