    Fantastic Four

Team » Fantastic Four appears in 5743 issues.

An intrepid group of astronauts: Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm originally received their powers after being exposed to an immense amount of cosmic radiation during a trip into space. Mutated and given strange powers by this exposure, they became the Fantastic Four and dedicated their abilities to the good of humanity.

Adding people to teams, have you noticed anything strange?

I think we argued about this already. Anyway, since this thread is about the page and I can't find the other thread where I mentioned it before, the image-at-the-top thing is back. This image was at the top of the page:

I thought it was clear that we weren't doing this, but someone still is. I deleted it (or submitted the page with the deletion, it has to go through moderation) so it's dealt with on this page, but whoever's doing it should stop.

There's 20 people there now, so we need 20 more and they can be the fantastic 40. Any suggestions?

They were all in at some point. Just like the Avengers have had numerous members. Even now, Black Panther and Storm are members. What is listed, is members and past members. It's up to you guys to add a "current members" section.

And as far as the image that Buckshot pointed out, yes it looked like crap. I deleted it. Sorry to be so blunt but it did. It was also so small. What was the point? (Obviously someone was looking for points). We discussed this before that we do not want them.

Everyone on that list has been on the Fantastic Four's official roster at some point... I don't see a problem with leaving them on the members list since it's basically the same for other teams... ala not everyone on the Avengers and X-Men are still on the time as of this moment. Plus I put "Founding Members" and "Current Members" to avoid confusion... guess it's not working lol.

Is it really hard to believe that they were all on the team once just because they're called the Fantastic Four?

Hulk, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man, and Wolverine seemed like a really odd combination. Hulk I could see as the muscle, and Spider-Man has been offered membership a few times so I could see him there. But Ghost Rider and Wolverine? Not only can't I see either of them sporting white & blue uniforms with big ol' "4"'s on them, but the team was almost pure power... where's the strategy?

Now, which characters would make a good replacement FF team?

The Alternate team (Hulk, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man, Wolverine) was awesome, but they probably couldn't stay together and work as a team for long.

Thanks for the info. In any case, I'd appreciate someone in the know mentioning all the characters that have been in the Fantastic Four at some point or another in the description. I noticed She-Hulk's in there, Luke Cage, a couple others.

And no, I don't think it's that weird just because it's the Fantastic Four. I think it's weird because in any other medium, or any other site I've been to, I've never read anything about it being anything other than Reed, Sue, Johnny and Thing -- that is, until Storm and Black Panther came in.

The Founding Members vs. Current Members Rosters seemed to confirm this, which was what I first looked at. Maybe if there had been a Former Members section, I dunno...

Wolverine and GR was in to sell copies. Ghost Rider was really popular in the nineties.
