@FadeToBlackBolt: I don't think they've gone and said she is smarter than Doom. It has been alluded to that she is as smart or could become smarter than Reed, which arguably puts her at or above Doom's level of intelligence. Doom only needed her help because he was brain damaged in World War Hulks, something that happened just so the writers could boost the intelligence of Bruce Banner (as the whole time he could not become the Hulk, they had to show Bruce's worth). I can accept that since Doom was still mildly phased by Banner's intelligence sapping technology.
But as for Valeria, there are real life child geniuses. No super powers necessary. Also, if you look at Franklin, he is one of the most powerful people in the Marvel Universe, so much so that his powers needed to be "turned off" and now that they are back, Galactus actually "fears" his power. Galactus. FEAR? It seems Reed and Sue make some super awesome babies. I feel like both children are over the top and if you dislike one, you should dislike them both.
As for the topic at hand, I'd like just some good family stories. Those are always what I like the best about the team. We could bring Johnny in for some flashbacks and they could all reminisce a bit and tell some good heartwarming stories that show their strong bonds. A recent example I can think of is Fantastic Four in...Ataque del MODOK! It was just Reed and Sue and it told the story of how Reed came up with the name Mr. Fantastic. I loved it. Do something like that and include the entire family.
