Gonna be over before we even know it 2

While I didn't really like the first issue of the series, this second one presents a huge twist of quality, as Matt Fraction makes sure to deliver lots of fun and laughable moments. If there's one word to describe this issue, that word is "fun". We see Ben and She-Hulk exercising, Johnny and Darla going to the past, etc. What made it even better were the brilliant dialogues between the characters, which, honestly, make the issue worth picking up just for the laughs. And the Fantastic Four clearly...

    Fraction? Really? 0

I'm gonna say it, Matt Fraction is impressing me. I am not a big fan of Mr. Fraction, not in the least, but I feel that he has really started something here if he keeps it up. Not only has the buildup to the departure of the Fantastic Four been entertaining but he has a grasp on some of the characters like we haven't seen in quite some time. He still has big shoes to fill when looking back at the previous run by Hickman, but I think he may, if it keeps, give it a run for it`s money. As the family...

    On point! 0

The good: The whole tone of the book just feels on point. From the interactions between the different characters, the jokes or the fun scenes of the book, we get in perspective how well Matt Fraction handles the series. Every character seems in their right place and thoughtfully written. Fraction does a great job to capture the reader with the fun and adventurous plot he's planning. In fact, the whole idea of the trip is a fresh and imaginative concept that wants to make you jump in time to get ...

    And They're Off! 0

This series had a very good start and I'm starting to really like the Fantastic Four again (as I wasn't a fan on Jonathan Hickman's run). This series looks like it will be a lot of fun but unfortunately this issue is still setting things up.PlotThis issue sees the Fantastic Four recruit the team that will replace them in case they are gone for more than four minutes.ReviewThis was a very good issue but I would have preferred to see the Fantastic Four in action. I appreciate that this issue shows...

    Let's Go Already 0

It's weird, this cover essentially takes place after the final page of the issue. This issue is more setup before the Fantastic Four finally set out on their journey. It feels a bit drawn out, and this issue is picking up right where FF #1 left off, not where Fantastic Four left off. It feels a little weird to have this issue clean up the loose ends from the companion series, and we STILL don't know how Darla become Ms. Thing. This issue definitely keeps up the same tone as Fantastic Four as opp...

Cover/Solicit - 3/5- Would I pick-up the comic based on the solicit/cover alone? Are the alternate covers appealing? Does the solicit/cover portray what happens in the issue?Art/Colors/Ink - 4/5- Weighted Double- Do I personally like this artist's style? Does the artist stay true to the characters appearance? Does the coloring/inking blend well with the artist? Is the coloring/inking enjoyable and easy to distinguish what's happening?Layout/Flow - 4/5- Does the layout of the issue make it easy t...
