    Julian, Dick and Anne Bannard, along with their cousin, the tomboy Georgina "George" Bannard, and her dog, Timothy, constantly stumble into mysteries and adventures whenever they gather together during the school holidays.

    Created by prolific children's author Enid Blyton, the Famous Five first appeared in the 1942 novel Five on a Treasure Island. As well as further adventures in several subsequent novels, the group have been depicted in movies, on television, and in comics.
