Emma has alot better showings. Exodus gets owned most of th time, twice by Xavier, his most recent appearances Charles took him and the Mauraders at the same time without them even knowing it.

I think Exodus is an omega though I'm not sure if it was ever specified.  He wrecked the X-men and Avengers together and  has a vast range of abilities usually seen in omegas i.e.  telepathy, telekinesis, psionics, matter manipulation, energy manipulation.  And the most telling is that Magneto felt that Exodus was more powerful than Mags himself.  And Magneto is a confirmed omega. The problem with Exodus is that he seems to lack creativity in the use of his powers.  Plus in most storylines he's too distracted by either vengeance or his vampiric nature to focus on using his powers to their peak ability.

Exodus is pretty tough. He's a powerful telepath with tk and is invulnerable to most physical attacks. The "omega" level is pretty vague. He's a tough bastard but I don't think he qualifies.

But Prof. X has and David has been said to be more powerful than him, though, right?

Same with Nate Grey being confirmed Omega but Stryfe hasn't?

I don't understand how he became so powerful with just twenty years of free time to practice using his powers.

Exodus is Omega Level. It just hasn't been said. He is always written as an O-L, but the problem lies in the fact that Omega Level powers are, how do I say this without offending the writers, a cop out. Exodus is Apocalypse level powerful. He holds his own constantly with omega level mutants and Eternals. Exodus, Stryfe, Legion, and a lot of the lesser used "for more than grandstanding lack of creativity amongst the writers" are omega level mutants. As is Mikhail Rasputin and Jamie Braddock. As is Rachel Summers.
Look at the characters powers and how the writers have used them. Don't wait for them to say who is omega or not. The omega classification is thrown in there just to make it easier for the writer to say "Oh this character is badass he/she are way powerful. Omega level mutants powerful." Hence why Vulcan is an omega but neither Cyclops, Havok or Adam X are.
Frankly Exodus has more than earned his Omega classification. And he has earned the right to be better written. He is as poorly developed a character as is Doctor Doom. Yeah I said it. Doctor Doom is a poorly developed character. Half the time it isn't even him, but a DOOMBOT. Marvel needs to give Doom his own ongoing book. Something along the lines of a political novel meets comic book tech-sorcery.
Exodus can be his protege. And all will be right with the world.

The Omega classification is just a measure of potential. Obviously Exodus is more powerful/more of a threat currently than Elixir, but Elixir has the potential to become more powerful, at least in theory. I don't put too much stock in the classification system anyway, since it is used to sporadically.

OMEGA level mutants are those with unlimited potential and to my knowledge (which isnt so much) only ten mutants have been confirmed as omegas in comics
      http://www.comicvine.com/omega-level-mutant/12-42826/
Exodus may well be an omega or he might be just a mutant with numerous abilities but each on its own might be limited in which case he wouldnt be omega. weknow he is a powerful telepath already but not xavier powerful. so he might be limited in that. and being hundreds of year old, maybe he has reached his full potential.

@Edamame:  Nate did that when he sacrificed himself and was confirmed omega long before that. Stryfe was pure psisonic  energy when his body dissipated and he possessed Cable in Fathers and Sons.

exodus is at the very most an alpha level mutant like emma frost. and just because a mutant has unlimited potential doesnt mean they are infalliable. for example magneto is an alpha level mutant but he would probably kick the crap out of iceman as of now, even though bobby is an omega level mutant
