Origin

Willam Baxter was a normal, nice guy. Married, had a daughter named Emma, and worked as an air traffic controller. All that changed when he found a book in an antiquarian book store. This book, The Crimson Chronicles, wqas written by an occultist named Ethan Shroud. He became fixated with it, locking himself up for days in his study, reading it over and over. He stopped bathing, chaving, eating, going to work. He sought out the Cult of Chaos in real life. When he finally found them, they bowed before him and said he was the reincarnation of their high priest. William started calling himself Ethan Shroud and left his family.
