On one of Wolverines many trips he discovered there was yet another bounty for his head. On his search to find the assassin his findings led him to the Savage Land. It was there he came upon the Fire tribe led by a woman named Gachk. He battled the woman and in beating her gained the right to lead the tribe. During his time there he mated with the woman, but soon had to leave. Sometime after Gachk was shown carrying a child. A boy who she had given birth to, and a supposed son of Wolverine. He is named Erista.
