More in depth: Because of AvX, after Emma and the X-Men followed Scott's plans of trying to use the PF to restart the mutant population, Emma and Scott ended up being the last 2 members of the Phoenix Force users and Emma was going psycho in a psychic meeting with Scott during the final battle (she made themselves a nice psychic dinner and made Scott taste human blood used as a gravy for a steak, and she admitted to having a psychic affair with Namor but then apologized and told Scott she loved him and that they should just destroy the world and rebuild a new. It was heavily implied at the time, and even mentioned by Gillen, the X writer at the time, that a lot of things were unsaid but it was quite obvious Scott didn't want to see Emma go down the same road Jean did and he took her powers so he would be the one to carry that burden.
Because of this, Emma and Scott were captured and jailed. Scott was willing die when Wolverine was going to kill him but Logan decided against it. Scott decided he would then fight for mutant rights and take the fight to the people who dare threaten them. He broke out due to help from Magneto, Magik, and Danger and then they saved Emma Frost. Emma revealed that their powers were broken and she was pissed at Scott, but she stayed with him again.
Then we get to this
They decided it would be best to be broken up but remain on the same team to help teach the new mutants.
So it was mutual...I guess since a lot of sh*t happened, but Emma and Scott have still shown to flirt with each other a couple of times. So I wouldn't say them being completely done with each other is set in stone yet. Bendis very well could put them back with each other when all is said and done since he does like going full circle with things he has done.
