Emma Frost is a fictional character originating from Marvel Comics. Originally starting off as a super villain and enemy of the X-Men, during which she was the White Queen of the Hellfire Club, Emma Frost is a powerful mutant telepath who can transform herself into organic diamond. She has become a prominent member of the X-Men. A gifted teacher, Emma is renowned for her beauty, wit, and sense of fashion.
I like Kari Wahlgren's voice the best. Her voice is both seductive and commanding, and the pseudo-British accent is wonderfully fake.
The Wolverine and the X-Men Emma is my favourite version of Emma Frost in any adaptation of the comics. The show wasn't all that great all the time, but I loved Emma in it. I liked the anime Emma, too, though this incarnation of her lacked the trademark Emma Frost bite, and the English voice acting was pretty bad (though I've only seen bits of the English dub, since I originally watched the show in Japanese).
I think Erica Schroeder best captures that quasi English accent of that Emma has. To me everybody else seems to either go full on Victorian or not have at all.
My only problem with voicing Emma Frost is why does she sound British sometimes? She's from Massachusetts. I don't know anyone from MA that have British accents. Even the rich have either a MA type of Bostonian accent or a regular Eastern American accent. Making her have a British accent because she is rich and snobby is kind of a stereotype if you ask me. I kind of like how January Jones did her voice.
@duchess: Yup Kari kills all her voices. She was by far the best Amora the Enchantress (From EMH) and probably the best Hela (from Guardians Cartoon) as well!
