Ok the main reason i love emma frost is her telepathy does anyone know any comic book issues that she ac, use alot of her telepathy in battle the most i seen her use it was in the emma frost issues 1-18

She beats the crap out of Rachael Grey in a telepathic fight, its in some Uncanny issue awhile back, some time between New X-men and the beginning of Astonishing X-men.
It was over Jean's death and Scott now being with Emma, in the arc Rachael tries to humiliate Emma on a few occasions but fails, and it eventually leads to this. Thats why there are fat Emma pictures.

I guess but no further reference of their encounter was made after wards xD
All I remember was "With visions come to prepare spirits." and just like that Emma broke free from the illusion.

Emma defeated Rachel in a psychic battle, and that was to help Rachel move past her mother's death and her anger towards Scott and Emma... She showed Rachel that the love she and Scott shared wasn't based on physical appearance, and she explained that Rachel didn't have the experience and willpower to defeat her in a psychic battle. Emma offered to teach her, if Rachel was willing.

Honestly, Rachel needed that. It taught her humility and helped her move on and accept Emma. Hopefully someday she can look at Emma as her stepmother.

Stop making Emma out as some kind of goddess or messiah or the greatest or whatever i mean i like her trust me but still like when she got into a fight with Jean after she discovered her and Scott's affair she took Emma down. When i say down i mean down she forced Emma to confront all her sins and demons, her lies and the way she is she ripped Emma apart. Plus Xavier is one of the most powerful mutants in history so is Jean its a fact a plain fact no arguing sorry just no. I bet Rachel could beat Emma now to with all her skill plus the Phoenix force at her side. Like i know you don't mean to but your making her sound like the messiah or the most powerful telepath ever no sorry just no that title belongs to like Jean or Prof. X. or Hope Summers who IS the messiah and IS probably the most powerful mutant to ever live. I mean Emma is at most an Alpha Level Mutant she does have skill but she's not the greatest. X, Jean, Hope, and Rachel are Omega Level Mutants and even in that classification they are considered some of the greatest. Sure Emma beat Rachel but you have to understand Rachel was emotionally and mentally conflicted she didn't have the skill she possess now.
I get it she's great i mean i like Emma to but she doesn't have the power or training that X. and Jean have. Sure i like Emma i just wish they would stop trying to make her take Jean's place and give her a place of her own. She's not Jean she'll never be Jean so let's Marvel let's move past trying to have her fill Jean's slot and she IS basically filling Jean's slot. I mean sure she has had it pretty good on her own but still. I like Emma but look at all the facts truly and honestly if any of these guys actually got into a fight with Emma she would lose.
I'm just trying to make a point i don't hate her i swear even if it sounds like i do i actually respect her as a character and am happy with what Marvel did with her character I'm just stating facts that have been stated in the comics numerous times.

Those Emma fights were great with Emma against Professor X and Rachel. But they only proved that power is not everything. She beat Rachel only because Rachel is not as skilled as Emma. Emma even said in that very issue that Rachel far outclasses her in power. In the fight with Xavier, Emma only won because she cheated. She set up a trap in his mind before the fight even started. In that fight, she admitted that she stood no real chance against him and that is why she cheated. She is good with what she has, but she would never take Xavier in a fair fight and would do even worse against Rachel if she had the training.

thats the thing with Emma, she thinks 5 steps ahead of her opponant, whaich is why ussually she will win. The Jean and Emma fight in New x-men cant even be considered as a true fight it was just an out right psychic attack by Jean who was showing phoenix signs again. Emma knew she had done wrong with what she did with Scott, so seeing as Emma is a trained psychologist she probably just let jean vent all her frustration to do with Emma through the psychic attack.

In an outright fight with Psychics as powerfull as Charles, Jean Rachel, Exodus, Sinister Emma would more than likely loose (unless she uses her Diamond Form). In order to win agains these psychics she has to play underhanded tactics (which is what anyone would do in those secumstances), and its the fact that she isnt always guaranteed to win that i personally like her. She's not overly powerfull nnor is she weak, its when characters become overly powerfull that i get bored of them.

You are underestimating Emma quite a bit I think. She might not be Xavier's exact equal but she's not that far off. Probably pretty equal with non-Phoenix Jean Grey.

As Xavier (and Storm) himself said in Uncanny #284.
Likewise she was said to be around Xavier's level in New Mutants #15.
No weakling in Generation X either.

That was a Rachel with the Phoenix Force which pretty much is more powerful than any "normal" telepath. Rachel does not have it any longer either, btw.

As for the Legacy fight with Xavier, well of course she cheated, why would she want an honest fight that she might well lose? Especially considering they suspected Xavier to be under Sinister's influence at the time. But she did not admit that she was weaker than him, that was Xavier's claim which Emma summarily dismissed.

The re-cap page for the issue (X-Men Legacy #216) said they were around the same level so who's to say he was right?

People are missing the facts here if charles and emma were to have it out both can use whatever power they have EMMA would win easly because in world war hulk emma held charles back from using his telepathy and when emma decided to join battle her girls(stepford c.) held his telepathy back and emma can shurly hold him long enough to change into diamond form and brake charles in half like the little tooth pick he is but if we are talking all out tel. fight then emma will loose sorry to say even if she set traps that will help her some but im shrue charles can find some way of defeating her i hate to admit it but charles is that good :/

if i remember rightly though, around the time of WWH charles had only just gotten his powers back and would naturally have been weaker and if the cuckoos were holding his powers back, they would easily have been able to do so as they are a hive mind

I did forget that the stepford c. did have multiple minds
i dont really know much about them since nothing is really
about them :(
and i did not know that so im sorry for that
i thought something was strange because Charles
never really attempted to escape from Emma's grasp on his powers
he just begged her to realese them

if you want to know more about the cuckoos then i suggest you read Grant Morrisons run on New X-men i belive you can buy his books in an omnibus format now its a reallllly good run on the x-men and i would just suggest reading it if you havent already. Or you could just read the Phoenix warsong book which gives quite a bit of detail on the cuckopos and their suprising origin.

A few years ago, just check the issue dates here on this site.

He got them back when Vulcan threw him into the crystal. That was not Vulcan's intention of course.
