I know i've always thought of her as being a close second to Beast in terms of intelligence, only because, she's been the only one he could really converse with without holding back.
Also, here she demonstrates that she knows enough about the nervous system to use her powers to cause a physiological orgasm (not just an illusion) in an entire crowd..
Nice scans. I like the dedication. But in my mind, her being labeled as a Three is the final verdict. That last scan came before the ranking scan was even published. So even with that nice feat Marvel still decided she was only a Three.

Well i'm going by the feats she has done, and in my eyes that qualifies here to be called a genius.

That's his mutant ability though, intuative genius. He has an unfair advantage.
Emma is very smart and very capable, and the only reason this is is probably because she used her unfair advantage: telepathy. Do the math.
Forge is not a genius, he even says himself he doesn't understand how he makes things.
Telepathy does not give any advantage in this, why would it? It's like saying anyone that can use the internet is a genius since you can learn anything there.
As many telepaths have displayed, including Emma, they can sort of copy and permanantly paste stuff into their own minds.
One of the most famous examples is from X-Men #100 (later Uncanny) where Jean used her telepathy to learn how to fly the rocket in a matter of moments.
Emma could do the same by copying the minds of geniuses, and become very intellectual.

Yeah, could, but hasn't(I don't even think this is true). She's been in Xavier's mind more then once, it never made her a genius. Just cause u stole the answers to a test doesn't make u a genius. U still would have no understanding of how to arrive at the correct answers. Yes, she can and has used her telepathy to enhance her intelligence. But it doesnt make her a genius.

You've changed my mind (along with Pix an Gloom....kinda :P) I'm willing to say she could be a genius if she wanted to do so, or if the situation called for it. She may not be labeled as a genius, but this scan clearly illustrates an ability to acquire other people's knowledge.

Anyways, I'll settle for a 4. =] She may not be a genius in the restrictive sense of the term, but she has the potential to be... and she's awesome. ^^
Depends how you define genius. Either way, her intellect has increased, as shown by the last handbook scan posted. I'd say she's a genius in certain areas, just like Cyclops could be considered a tactical genius.
Not anymore as he was depowered. But, as you probably know, the Cuckoos restored every piece of information which he had absorbed when he possessed his powers. So he's now just a human genius, with an insane number of skills.
Many telepaths are considered to know more than your average joe (for obvious reasons) but a genius? Probably not, but she is very intelligent, just not at genius level yet. But maybe she's getting there. I'd say she's a little smarter than spider-man, very intelligent but not a genius like, per say, Tony Stark.
