She really it.. I love how she give it to people straight without sugar coating, while still sounding polite and highly educated.

It really is. Someone finally gets it.
Morrison, Whedon and now Gillen. They truly get the character.
Too bad it took so long.
It did, but Gillen is repairing the damage that Fraction did, so I'm good with it.
This is the Emma Frost I love.
P.S. you would think Namor would be a bit more subtle with the flirtation with her boyfriend a couple of feet away.

Yeah, I've been happy with his tenure on X-Men thus far. I'm looking forward to seeing where he takes things.

I know, its such a freackin' blessing. Cyclops and Emma are two of the characters that simply cannot shine in any manner without a good writer, I'm having such a blast that Emma is being written like that stuck up biatch with a heart
Sigh I'm in love.

@ReVamp: Gillen also said Emma and Scott are his fave couple too. I think he is enjoying writing them as such as well. I just hope that things to come teaser image with her and Namor together doesn't happen when Scott and Emma are finally written well again.
Well, personally I don't know what I think of the Scott/Emma relationship. I mean I like it and all that and I think that this couple really fits during the current events but I'm not sure whether I'd like Emma to take a different and more contrasting relationship with someone else, I've always been a complete sucker for the whole "opposites" attract shindig. That being said I absolutely despise the Namor/Emma pairing and I hope that it won't happen, because as much as that one line in the book was when he said that she was "brighter than the [sun]" I really don't think that they have any chemistry. All Namor wants is another notch on his belt, he'll just about tap any hot blonde that's in a relationship with another man.
@ReVamp: I'm a big fan of the couple. I think both characters when written well are compliment each other than when single. Obviously though Emma would probably fair better than Cyclops alone. As for the Emma and Namor thing, I still doubt it will. We've had these teaser posters for the past few years and nothing has really come of it. I do agree though with what you said about him. Really all that Namor can give Emma is the title of queen. Scott is a king in the sense of the word. Namor was given the title of king, Scott earned it.

What happened to her arm?
Got blasted off by the Dreaming Celestial in diamond form. She also took one shot before hand and was alright which aside from her shatter point (which encompassed multiple special circumstances), shows a ridiculous upper limit to her durability in that form.
i hate her, and that's saying a lot since i don't hate any other comic characters, but no, i can't stand the superficial, b**chy, two faced character
@The Dark Huntress: I'm speechless but in the best way possible.:) Emma is a friggin Amazon!
@jrock85: A Celestial probe blew her arm off while she was in diamond in an earlier issue.
@god_spawn: Uncanny is has shaped up to become my favorite X-book out of the fray but it's no big surprises that the majority of my fav. characters are on the team.
@One_Eye: Technically she took 2 shots from the Celestial. She took a shot from the head prior to that when SInister took over then a second from the Mini- Celestial when she lost her arm. Also depictions in later issues up to 3 showed her body as having cracks at times. Still tanking any shots from the Celestial and it's probes was impressive despite finding an upper limit. I also agree with it becoming a favorite series.
How many times in the past have we seen teasers of Emma betraying Scott in some form or fashion? Lots. Have they ever been true? No.

Yup, yup. Couldn't agree with you more! Morrison, Whedon,& Gillen truly get Emma. Can't wait to see where he takes her in the future.

Yes! Morrison redefined her character. Whedon wrote her better than anybody ever has, or will. And now Gillen is slowly rectifying the damage that Fraction caused and doing an exemplary job of truly getting Emma. I'd put him almost on par with Whedon.

Yeah, Morrison gave her her teeth back, but also kept the heart that she gained during Gen X. He truly wrote her with a perfect balance. Whedon carried on that tradition and actually helped to truly make the Emma/Scott relationship more than just a one night stand for me. They both grew as individuals and a couple in his run. I really wish the moment with her helping Scott gain control of his powers had stuck.
