    In North Africa, the year 2224, Dr Nikken of the MAPPO corporation used local women as carriers to bring to term several experimental human/animal hybrids. Originally intended to be used as weapons, they were eventually freed by the UN and allowed to lead regular lives. Their lives in captivity continue to haunt them.
