Remember awhile ago there was talk of a Venom spinoff movie and we were all concerned because of Venom's (horrible and rushed) appearance in Spider-Man 3?

Well, forget those fears and rejoice in the fact that this will (likely) be a whole new take on the character, likely in connection to the Amazing Spider-Man reboot.

And good news if you loved Chronicle, because it appears Sony has their eye on Josh Trank to direct.
